Ever since leaving behind the best Katsudon shop in the entire universe (in Sannomiya, Kobe) I've been craving a really good Katsudon. Fatty, eggy and delicious.

So what's the best Katsudon in Perth?

From what I've tried so far I think Mr. Samurai on Barrack St is winning for me - although their Katsu is a little too "crumby" and not quite moist enough, but bonus points for value and size.

    What do you think?

Have you tried, or is there even, katsudon at Jun? I would assume they had the most authentic stuff but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Best curry: Tanpopo. Top that.

I didn’t see any Katsudon at Jun, it seemed to be mostly izakaya stuff. I’ll have a look next time I’m down there.

Yo Yo Yo mad fools be runnin' tings

I recommend Cheers in Subiaco for authentic katsudon, it was very...authentic. And tasty.

However on this night the service was sloowwww as anything, hours i tell you, HOURS of waiting.

Could be worth a shot though. On the whole the food was very tasty and 'authentic'. Somebody once said that the only people that should be concerned with authenticity were antique dealers. They were talking about music though.

Yo yo yo can I call a mad 'bull-sheee-yahht' on this wack-ass chicken-instead-of-pork shiz that goes down in this mo-fuggin' hood?

    that shiz be WACCCCKKKKK!!!!!

    peace out boyees
